About Me

I create an environment of openness, warmth and authenticity for my clients that nurtures self-reflection and growth. My roles as a partner, parent, friend, family member, and part of society help to inform my empathy. I connect with clients through my humor, love of pop-culture, and deep well of compassion.

My Training and Experience

I completed a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary's University. During my graduate program, I participated in a traineeship at the Maple Counseling Center, where I was trained in psychodynamic therapy. After graduating, I honed my therapeutic skillset through my work with adults in private practice and intensive outpatient programs. I was also honored to spend time working with teens and their families as they navigated their way out of crisis and into healing.

In the fall of 2022 I took the Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and have fallen head over heals for the model. I have since participated in Core Skills training, and ongoing EFT supervision to sharpen my skills and ensure that couples are receiving the best possible care.

All of my training and experience has helped me to cultivate a culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and non-judgmental stance.
