You Don’t Have To Go It Alone
Healers exist because healing can’t happen in isolation. I came to the work of therapy and coaching because I know a thing or two about feeling isolated, and the immense weight of the pain it inflicts.
Through therapy, I help people to learn about the wounds they carry and how those wounds are impacting their relationship to self and others. These burdens don’t have to be carried alone, and when we’re seen for all that we carry, it can make it easier to finally set it down. Therapy is a space for going deep, expressing feeling, and exploring the parts of self that have been yet unknown.
Through coaching, I offer people the support they need to make present tense change as they explore more authentic ways of being. Using the wisdom I’ve gained from the therapy room and living my own authentic life, I can help people communicate better with loved ones, navigate modern dating with self-trust, reimagine the structure of their relationship, and more.
I completed a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary's University. After graduating, I honed my therapeutic skillset through my work with adults in private practice and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). I learned to swim in the depths while working with teens and their families in IOP as they navigated their way out of crisis and into healing. I opened my private therapy practice, In Strength Marriage & Family Therapy Inc., in the fall of 2024. Owning my own business has been such a beautiful leap of faith, teaching me that betting on myself is indeed the right choice in life.
My therapy clients have shown me time and again just how meaningful it is to not have to feel alone in our struggles. Working with individuals and relationships for the past six years has taught me so much about what it means to be human, and just how much we all share.
My intention is to help the world be a more empathetic, accepting and connected place for us all. To that end, I work to cultivate a culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, neurodiversity affirming, and non-pathologizing stance as a therapist, coach and person.
When I’m not working, I balance my time connecting with loved ones through shared experiences and laughter, connecting with myself through fitness and creativity, and connecting with nature through wonderment. Usually spotted with a coffee, my stack of woo-woo girlie bracelets clinking, and headphones blaring music on full blast.
